All That Glitters is Gold: Luster Workshop

In this workshop you will learn a little about the history of ceramic luster and it’s use as a decorative addition, and you will learn to apply luster, both in its liquid form and as decals, to your own pieces. We will have 18 karat white and 22k yellow gold luster and an array of white and yellow gold decals available for use. Please bring 3-5 pieces of glaze-fired ceramic work to apply luster to. Luster is a decorative element used as a highlight. There may be a small upcharge if you wish to use a large amount of luster on a piece, and there will be a small charge per piece (dependent on size) if you wish to luster more than 5 pieces.
Work will be fired and ready to pick up the week following the workshop. An email will be sent to all participants when work is ready for pickup.
*Refunds will not be given within one week of the beginning of class. A $25 processing fee will be retained from any refund. If a class must be cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be given.
